Singapore, 15 August 2014 - Enjoy a colorful and bedazzling Mid-Autumn this year while savouring delectable mooncakes as VivoCity opens its sky to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 2014 from 15 August to 8 September 2014.
Rejoicing the joyous reunion, Singapore's largest retail and lifestyle mall will offer a bigger, bolder and better Mid-AutumnFair this year, filled with authentic traditional delights and enchanting experiences set to capture moments that inspire, amplify and celebrate the tradition of Mid-Autumn. With the wide-array of delectable treats and spectacular lantern displays, VivoCity centers this year's celebration on creating blissful and meaningful family reunions in commemoration of the festival.
Mooncake Medley with TANGS

With a carefully curated selection from over 35 of Singapore's finest chefs in the latest designs and flavours, prepare to savour, delight and devour these tempting creations as VivoCity and TANGS bring you the widest selection of sumptuous mooncakes at its annual Mooncake Festival showcase. Brand new to the collection this year, VivoCity welcomes new vendors like Breadtalk, Laurent Bernard Chocolatier, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, WuGuFeng, Chocoelf, Chyn Nonya Cakes, Garden Pastry & Cake, Hong Kong Mei-Xin, Eat Drink Tea and Gin Thye.
In addition to the new vendors, VivoCity will welcome the unique999 Pure Gold-plated mooncakes by SK Jewellery. The newly designed pure gold-plated mooncake is beautifully mounted on an elegant wooden frame and skillfully blends elements of art and tradition. Mooncakes of all other assortments from a host of brands will be available for purchase at the fair from 19 August. (See appendix for the full list of vendors).
Festivities in Full Light

Venue: Sky Park, Level 3
Journey through the spectacular illumination of Chinese lanterns and bask in the glow of an authentic Mid-Autumn atmosphere as VivoCity transforms its Sky Park into a realm of colourful lanterns and beautiful lightings. Perfect for a night out in the Sky Park, this will be a great time to celebrate and enjoy an evening outdoors with friends and family.
To bring the festivities onto a digital platform, VivoCity will be organising a Facebook contest from 15 August to 8 September. Shoppers are encouraged to upload a photo of the lights and lantern displays at the Sky Park, include the hashtag, #VivoCityMidAutumn, and upload it on the VivoCity Singapore Facebook page. The best 20 photos will be chosen during the course of 25 days, and each will win a $100 voucher from fashion outlet Bread and Butter.
