VivoCity Brings an Explosion of Style and Colour to Shoppers
"Style Explosion" fashion show to headline VivoCity's Fashion Season with special shopping deals aplenty for shoppers

7 April 2011, Singapore – Singapore's largest retail and lifestyle destination, VivoCity, is set to come alive with an outburst of the latest fashion trends during its Fashion Showcase from 8 April to 1 May. Featuring the latest Spring/Summer collections from various brands through an exciting line-up of fashion shows, VivoCity promises something for everyone, including a host of special promotions.

Listed as one of the world's top ten retail destinations in the January/February 2011 issue of the Shopping Centre News (India), VivoCity saw an increased footfall of almost 10 per cent last year. This can be attributed to the events organised by VivoCity to engage its shoppers continuously and provide new and exciting shopping experiences.

The VivoCity Fashion Showcase is being organised with the same objective and will put the spotlight on fashion apparel, accessories, shoes, bags and beauty amongst others during the three-week long campaign.

VivoCity and TANGS Presents "Style Explosion"

With 'Style Explosion' as the theme, the Opening Show of VivoCity Fashion Showcase will take place at 6.30pm on Saturday, 16 April, at the Amphitheatre on Level 3. Promising a splendour of colours and creativity, the show will serve as the headline event of VivoCity's Fashion Showcase and will present the latest collections from prominent brands like Individual Expression, Martina Pink, Fred Perry, SuperDry, Coats and Saturday.

Subsequent fashion shows featuring brands such as kitschen, Lee Cooper, Converse, Everlast, Marks & Spencer and ESPRIT will take place at the Amphitheatre between 17 and 23 April. Refer to Appendix A for the fashion show schedule.

Shoppers with a minimum spend of $50 (maximum of two combined same-day receipts) between 8 and 23 April will be able to redeem a pass for 2 to catch a glimpse of the latest fashion collections at one of the shows. OCBC Credit/Debit Cardmembers only need to charge $30 to qualify.

Tangs will also be organising a unique Live Mannequin Show at VivoCity, Lobby L, Level 1 at 3pm on Saturday, 23 April. All shoppers will get to witness the TANGS 'mannequins' comes to live in outfits by various brands retailed at the store.

The Design Show 2011 by Temasek Polytechnic

As a reflection of VivoCity's continuing support for local talents, the fashion season at VivoCity will start off with the Graduation Show by Temasek Polytechnic. The graduating cohort of the Design School will showcase their creative expressions at VivoCity's Central Court and South Avenue on Level 1 from 8 to 10 April. It marks the beginning of their journey to become top designers.

Shoppers can also check out their launch fashion show on Friday, 8 April at 7pm at the Amphitheatre on Level 3.
